FORESIGHT SESSION: COMPETENCIES OF THE SPECIALIST OF THE FUTURE

Goals and objectives of the event:

Involvement of young people in solving urgent problems of the petrochemical industry, stimulation of innovative activity and exchange of knowledge between generations.
Revealing and development of a list with key competencies for future specialists in the petrochemical industry.
Development of specific solutions for profile cases that can be used in real practice.
Receiving feedback from experts to form participants' understanding of current professional requirements.

Students enrolled in bachelor's, specialist, master's and postgraduate programs in the field of petrochemical profile of industry-specific universities in Russia.

RESULTS OF 2024

In 2024, the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum-2024 for the first time hosted the Foresight Session "Competencies of the Specialist of the Future" organized by the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council in cooperation with ANO Kazan Expo. The event was attended by bachelors, masters and postgraduates from 10 universities from different parts of Russia: from Moscow to Murmansk, from Krasnodar to Tomsk, from Ufa to Tyumen. Expert support of the event was provided by honored industry leaders, experts, representatives of leading petrochemical companies and research institutes of Russia. The awards ceremony was attended by Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Valery Afonasyevich Yazev, Chairman of the Association "RNC WPC".

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

The Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council (RNC WPC) was established in 1958 and has been operating for more than 60 years. The RNC WPC represents Russia's interests in the World Petroleum Council, promotes innovative development of the Russian oil and gas industry and the expansion of international professional contacts. "The RNC WPC Association is also active in the field of youth and social policy. The activities of the RNC WPC include various educational programs designed to promote the professional development of the younger generation: spreading knowledge about the oil and gas industry, training and educating personnel, holding educational and socially significant events at major industry venues, supporting initiatives and developing the potential of young scientists and outstanding students and pupils".
